The welfare section looks after the overall welfare of the Tibetans refugees in India, Nepal and Bhutan. It supports vide range of programs such as under:

• Old People's Home and caring for Old people
• Nutritional food Supplementary (Catholic Relief Service) to poor and needy people and in case of emergency
• Poverty Alleviation Program (Sponsorship for destitute family, individuals and elders)
• Youth Empowerment Scheme (Providing Basic Skill training and Micro-credit startup loans so that they don't have to rely on others) and so on...
