Our Projects

His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Central Tibetan Relief Committee supports the different projects for the welfare and all round development of socio-economic in different Tibetan refugee settlements in India, Nepal and Bhutan.

It effectively acts as the relief and development wing of the Department of Home, Central Tibetan Administration. Every project of CTRC is solely dependent upon the generosity of government, individual, organisation donors around the world.

Guided by the wisdom of charismatic leaders, the Tibetan people, with aid and support, created a rare success story among the exiled Tibetan Community. Dedicating with gratitude this achievement to the generous help from our different supporters, CTRC resolves to play its role for the exiled Tibetan community.

Development of Human Potential: Training to engage in the dynamic world

  • Agricultural trainings: Organic and natural farming, irrigation, pest management, dairy farming, animal husbandry, Orchard management and forestry.
  • Vocational trainings: automotive and agriculture machinery, plumbing, electrical, solar and photovoltaic repair and maintenance etc.
  • Craft skill trainings: wood carving, carpentry, carpet and shawl weaving, silver smiting, tailoring etc.
  • Construction trainings: housing, roads, water supply, irrigation and sewage
