Kalon Tripa to Give Keynote Address at the World's Largest Student Body Conference

Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdong Rinpoche will set off for an official visit to metropolitan cities of India and Amravati in Andhra Pradesh between 1 and 18 January.
Kalon Tripa will attend the birthday celebration of Mr. B.K. Modhi, President of Maha Bodhi Society in Modi Nagar, New Delhi.
On 6 January, Rinpoche will leave for Mumbai, where he is expected to deliver a valedictory speech at the Akhil Bharitya Vidhyarthi Parishad's (ABVP) conference.
ABVP is the world's largest student organisation based in Mumbai and it was started soon after Indian independence with an objective of channelising students' energies in national reconstruction.
In Kolkata, Kalon Tripa will participate in the conference of Rama Krishnan Mission's Institute of Culture. He will also participate and deliver a speech at Kolkata's Bodhi Society conference which is being held to mark the enlightenment of Lord Buddha 2550 years ago.
On 10 January, Rinpoche will set off for Amravati where His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give Kalachakra teachings.
Kalon Tripa will return to Dharamsala on 18 January.
