French Parliamentarians ask President to Raise Human Rights Issue in Tibet with Visiting Chinese Premier

The French Parliamentary Group for Tibet urged the French President to raise the issue of Tibet with the China's Premier in line with President George Bush's action during the American President's recent visit to the Chinese capital.
The former French culture and education minister, Jack Lang, criticised the lack of dialogue on human rights between France and China. He cited Tibet as a glaring example.

During this visit, the China's Premier signed a contract to buy 150 Airbus crafts and 5 Airbus, 380 planes, considered to be the biggest commercial plane in the world, from France.
