Kalon Tripa to Address a Workshop on Gandhi and Globalisation

Dharamshala: Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdong Rinpoche will set off for an official visit to Dehra Dun and Delhi between 29 November and 8 December.

Kalon Tripa is expected to address a workshop on "Gandhi and Globalisation" organised by the BijaVidhyapeeth, an educational initiative at the Navdanya Organic Farm in Doon Valley on 1 and 2 December.

On 3 December, Kalon Tripa will arrive in Dharamshala from where he will leave for Delhi on 6 December.

Kalon Tripa will participate and deliver a valedictory speech at the 80th birthday of Rabi Ray, a former speaker of the lower house of the Indian parliament in Delhi organised by the Indo-Tibet Friendship Society from 6 to 8 December.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will attend the opening ceremony of the felicitation on 6 December.
