Updates on His Holiness' US Visit

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in Washington D.C. on Monday evening around 4 pm. He was received at the airport by Special Envoy Kasur Gyari Rinpoche, and was received by over 100 members of the Tibetan community, ICT Staff, Mind & Life Institute staff, US Special Coordinator Paula Dobriansky, and the deputy head of the Indian Embassy, Ambassador Raminder Singh Jassal, and others outside the hotel.

His Holiness had a brief meeting with Special Coordinator Dobriansky and Ambassador Jassal in his suite. This was followed by a meeting with the organizing committee of the Mind & Life conference.
